User Defined Uploads

User Defined Uploads let you choose the update rate while your pet is in the basestation zone for savings on battery life. To choose your preferred frequency:

  1. Touch Menu.
  2. Then touch Settings.
  3. ‚ÄčThen touch Manage Collars.
  4. Then touch your pet's collar.
  5. Choose the upload frequency low, medium or high.

How it works: There are 3 ranges to choose from:

  • High Frequency- This is our standard frequency upload rate for when the collar is inside and outside of the basestation zone. The collar will upload information to the app every two to four minutes. This setting uses the most battery.

  • Medium Frequency- This setting can be used when the collar is inside the basestation zone. The collar will upload information to the app every 14 to 16 minutes. This setting has battery power savings on the collar.

  • Low Frequency- This setting can be used when the collar is inside the basestation zone. The collar will upload information to the app every 20 minutes. This setting has the highest battery power savings

When the pet is outside the basestation the data upload time immediately switches to high frequency updates.  2 minutes over Bluetooth and 4 minutes over cell. The frequency rate is displayed on the top of the activity page.
